2.    Acceptance of terms

By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not place an order. 

3.    Orders and acceptance

All orders placed through this website are subject to acceptance by Mind Magic Studios.

 

A binding contract between you and Mind Magic Studios is formed only when we send you an email confirming that your order has been successfully processed through Wix Payments. 

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including but not limited to:

• Payment cannot be verified or is disputed by Wix Payments

• Technical issues, suspected fraud, or errors in pricing or product details

• Materials shortages or inability to produce the ordered item.

You expressly agree that Mind Magic Studios cannot accept any liability for loss or damage arising out of such cancellation. ​

4.    Products

Each product is handmade. There may be slight variations in colour, size, or finish, which are part of the unique character of custom-made items.

Product images are illustrative and may differ slightly from the final item.

We may change or update information or correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice, without affecting your statutory rights.

5. Prices & Payment

All prices are shown in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.

All payments for orders on this website are processed securely through Wix Payments, which may offer multiple payment options, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and major credit/debit cards.

Payment is considered received only when successfully processed through Wix Payments.

We are not responsible for technical issues, delays, or failures caused by Wix Payments or other third-party payment providers.

If payment fails, is disputed, or reversed, we may cancel or suspend your order. 

​

Refunds for cancelled or returned orders will be processed to the original payment method via Wix Payments wherever possible.

 

Buy Now, Pay Later options: Payment must be made in full at the time of order unless using a Buy Now, Pay Later option (e.g., Klarna or PayPal), where available. Approval for Buy Now, Pay Later is subject to the provider’s terms, eligibility checks, and regional availability. Mind Magic Studios does not provide credit and is not responsible for approval decisions or payment schedules.

 

International customers: Prices do not include import duties, taxes, or tariffs. These are your responsibility.

6. Shipping & Delivery

We ship worldwide from the United Kingdom. 

Shipping costs may be included in your instalment plan or processed in full at the time of purchase, depending on your payment method and region. The exact amount will be shown at checkout. 

Customs duties, tariffs, and local taxes are not included and are your responsibility.  

Estimated delivery times are provided but are not guaranteed. Orders for multiple quantities of the same design may take longer to complete.

Once an order has been handed to the courier, we are not responsible for loss or delay in transit. International orders may face customs clearance delays outside our control. 

7. Customs Duties, Tariffs & Import Taxes

If you are ordering from outside the United Kingdom, please be aware:

Import duties, tariffs, and local taxes may be charged by your customs authority and are your sole responsibility.

We cannot predict or control these costs and do not collect them on your behalf.

If you refuse to pay these charges, your parcel may be held, returned, or destroyed by customs. In such cases, we cannot refund you.

If you are using a Buy Now, Pay Later option, you remain responsible for any import duties, tariffs, or taxes in your country. Mind Magic Studios is not responsible for these charges.

8. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds Policy

Every mask we sell is handmade in our UK studio, and every one is made to order. That means we start work on your mask after you place your order, and we cannot resell a returned mask in the way a shop resells a shirt. This policy explains what happens if you need to cancel, return a mask, or if a delivery cannot be completed. Please read it before you order.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

• Cancelling before we start work

You can cancel any order for a full refund at any time before we begin production. We will confirm by email when production has started. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel.

• Changing your mind after production has started

Bespoke Masks. Because Bespoke Masks are made to your specification or personalised, the statutory 14-day right to cancel does not apply once production has started. We cannot accept returns of Bespoke Masks because you have changed your mind. This does not affect your rights if the mask is faulty or not as described.

• Import duties, taxes and customs charges

Orders shipped outside the UK may be subject to import duty, VAT, customs handling fees or similar charges in the destination country. Unless your order confirmation clearly says otherwise, these charges are not included in the price you pay us, and you are responsible for paying them. They are set by the customs authority and carrier of your country, not by us, and we cannot predict or control them.

Before ordering, please check what charges may apply in your country. 

By placing your order you confirm that you have read this section and accept responsibility for these charges.

Unpaid duties, refused deliveries and failed deliveries

If you have not paid or collected or you refuse the parcel, we will treat this as you cancelling the order and the parcel will be returned to us.

1. Your refund. When the mask is back with us and we have inspected it, we will refund the price you paid for the mask, minus:

   • the actual outbound delivery cost we paid, as shown on our original invoice;

   • the actual return cost we paid, together with any customs, storage, handling or disposal charges the carrier or customs authority charges us to recover the parcel;

   • an administration and restocking fee £50

2. Duties and taxes are not refundable by us. If duties or taxes have been paid by you to the carrier, you must reclaim them from the carrier or customs authority. If we prepaid any duty or tax on your behalf, we will deduct it too.

9. Intellectual Property

All original designs, photographs, and text on our website are owned by Mind Magic Studios and cannot be copied or reproduced without our consent. 

Third-party characters remain the property of their respective rights holders. 

10. Links to other Websites

We may link to third-party websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. You should review their terms before using them.

11. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., postal strikes, natural disasters, and customs delays).

Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

Mind Magic Studios is not responsible for any fees, interest, or charges applied by third-party payment providers, including Klarna or PayPal Pay Later. Customers are responsible for complying with the provider’s payment terms.

12. Disclaimer

All products are sold for decorative, theatrical, or cosplay use only. They are not safety equipment, protective wear, or toys. They are not suitable for children unless explicitly stated. Use is at your own risk.

13. Exclusions of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

 

•  Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage (including loss of data, business, income, or goodwill) arising from your use of our website or products.

• Personal injury or property damage resulting from misuse of our products.

• Any costs or losses caused by refusal to pay customs/import charges.

 

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Mind Magic Studios and replace any previous agreements.
