An amazing Ernesto cosplay collaboration
We love working with talented artists and cosplayers to bring our masks to life in spectacular ways. One of our most exciting collaborations has been with Jason Koster, the professional cosplayer behind Skull and Sword Creations - check him out on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. His passion and dedication to authenticity are unparalleled, and he took our Ernesto De La Cruz mask to new heights. His partner, a skilled wig stylist, completed the look with a screen-accurate wig that perfectly captures Ernesto’s suave and stylish essence. The result? A breathtaking, fully realised Ernesto De La Cruz costume that was unveiled to an amazed crowd at MCM London.

The inspiration
The Coco movie is a vibrant celebration of family, music, and the tradition of Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. It introduced us to unforgettable characters and a world full of colour and culture. Ernesto De La Cruz, with his larger-than-life persona and sinister secrets, plays a pivotal role in Miguel’s journey. Our goal with this mask was to capture the film-accurate details of Ernesto’s skeletal appearance while ensuring a comfortable and wearable design for cosplayers and performers.
